Holistic Healing with Amberly Deibel: Your Path to Inner Balance
Common Questions
What is holistic healing?
Holistic healing is an approach to wellness that honors the whole person—body, mind, emotions, and spirit.
Rather than focusing only on symptoms, holistic healing looks at underlying patterns, stressors, and imbalances that may be contributing to discomfort or dis-ease.
Through practices such as BreathWork, energy medicine, sound and vibration (using tuning forks & crystal singing bowls) meditation, and body-based awareness, the goal is to support your body’s natural ability to restore balance and vitality.
What should I expect during a session?
Each session is personalized and guided at a pace that feels safe and supportive for you. Sessions typically take place in a calm, grounded environment and may include BreathWork, sound or vibrational tools, gentle movement or stillness, energy balancing, and intuitive guidance.
We’ll begin by checking in on your intentions and how you’re feeling, and the session will unfold based on your unique needs that day. There is no “right” way to experience a session—some people feel deep relaxation, emotional release, clarity, or physical sensations, while others simply feel more grounded and present.
What healing modalities do you offer?
Sessions may include a blend of modalities such as:
- Breathwork (activation or down-regulating)
- Reiki (Master level) * Polarity Therapy *
- Sound and vibration therapy (including tuning forks and sound healing)
- Guided meditation and somatic awareness *
- Trauma-informed nervous system support
Each session is intuitively curated to support emotional release, stress reduction, energetic balance, and whole-body harmony.
Is holistic healing a replacement for medical care?
No. Holistic healing is a complementary approach and is not a substitute for medical, psychological, or psychiatric care. These practices work alongside conventional care by supporting emotional, energetic, and nervous system regulation. If you are under the care of a medical or mental health professional, holistic sessions can be a supportive addition to your existing treatment plan.
How can sound and vibration support healing?
Sound and vibration influence the body through frequency, rhythm, and resonance.
The nervous system and brain are highly responsive to sound, and specific frequencies can help shift brainwave states from stress-based patterns (such as high beta) into more regulated states associated with relaxation, focus, and restoration (alpha and theta).
Vibrational sound works on a cellular level, as the body is made up largely of water and connective tissue—both of which conduct sound efficiently. When sound is applied intentionally, it can help interrupt habitual stress patterns, support nervous system regulation, and encourage coherence between the brain, heart, and body.
In sessions, tools such as weighted and non-weighted tuning forks, crystal singing bowls, chimes, drums, and ocean drums are used to deliver consistent vibrational input. These sounds can stimulate the parasympathetic nervous system, support sensory integration, and help the brain form new neural pathways by repeatedly experiencing states of safety, rhythm, and regulation.
Rather than forcing release, sound healing provides the nervous system with steady cues that allow the body to downshift naturally.
Over time, this can support emotional processing, stress reduction, improved body awareness, and a deeper sense of balance and resilience.
Do I need prior experience with holistic or energy work?
Not at all. Many clients come in with no prior experience. Everything is explained gently, and you are always in control of your experience. You are welcome exactly as you are. Having a healthy curiosity is enough.
What conditions or concerns can holistic healing support?
Clients seek holistic healing for many reasons, including stress, anxiety, burnout, emotional overwhelm, trauma recovery, grief, chronic tension, life transitions, and a desire for deeper self-connection. These practices are designed to support relaxation, nervous system regulation, awareness, and overall well-being on multiple levels.
How many sessions will I need?
This varies from person to person. While some experience meaningful shifts in a single session, lasting results occur when you receive ongoing support to deepen regulation, healing, and embodiment over time. We can discuss what feels most supportive for you based on your goals and circumstances.
What should I wear or bring to my session?
Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to breathe and move easily. You don’t need to bring anything special—just yourself and an openness to the experience. Water is recommended afterward to support integration.
Are sessions available remotely?
Yes. All offerings are available remotely via Zoom, allowing you to receive support from the comfort of your own space. Remote sessions are just as intentional and effective.
Is this work trauma-informed?
Yes. All sessions are guided with a trauma-informed lens, prioritizing safety, consent, choice, and nervous system awareness. You are never pushed beyond your comfort level, and everything is invitational.
